Get Back to Fitness
I began this program because I truly believe every person has the ability to be physically active; some people just need a little more help getting started again.
A program designed for people who need a helping hand to get started again: You had it once- It's still there- I'm ready to help you find it again!
Eight sessions, once per week, during which time participants will re-enter the fitness world at an appropriate pace. Each session participants will be introduced to new exercises, new equipment and new options for staying physically active.
Everyone has the ability to be active, but not everyone has the confidence or knowledge to start on their own. The goal of this program is to give participants the skills necessary to become independent in their exercise routine.
This program is open to both men and women who wish to become active again.

" I recently completed an eight week session on getting back to fitness. The session was offered to the public via The Fit Stop at the Credit Union Place. Our instructor/trainer was Ellan Dickieson. This course gave us an introduction to various exercises and the use of different exercise equipment. Each week we were taught something new, such as: working with stretch bands, weights, bosu ball, kettle ball and various equipment in the gym. We learned how important it is to warm up and cool down. I now feel that I can continue on my own and use the information and knowledge which Ellan provided.
